Early days
Our company began its life as Belper Skip Hire in the early 1980s. At the time we were a small business based in Belper, hiring out a few skips to local homeowners and businesses. In 2003 our current owners took over the business, and expanded the company’s services into recycling and waste management.
Expansion
The new business was quickly expanded through the purchase of Bridge Waste Disposal Ltd and Derwent Waste Management, extending our operations and giving us access to new equipment and markets. In 2007 we moved to our current recycling centre, a 10 acre site near Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Our new facilities include a modern fleet of skip loaders, articulated projector vehicles, hook loaders and a large number of secure skips. On site we 
have a full waste sorting facility, where materials are delivered, processed and separated. A suite of baling machines that process waste paper and cardboard for resale to the manufacturing industry. We also operate a modern recycling plant, which we used to create industrial aggregates out of hard-core.
